Refrigerator Pickles


Ingredients

  • 1 Cucumber, sliced 1/4"
  • 1 Cup White Vinegar
  • 1 Cup Dill
  • 4 Garlic Cloves, smashed
  • 4 tbsp Salt
  • Water

Instructions

  1. Slice the Cucumbers about 1/4 thick.

  2. If using 1 pint jars, add 1/2 cup of white vinegar, 1/4 cup of dill (fresh ferns), 2 smashed garlic cloves and 2 tbsp of salt to jar, shake it up. 

  3. Add cucumbers until half full, add 1/4 cup of dill, continue to fill jar with cucumbers.  Do not pack tight.  Fill jar with water, shake it up and refrigerate for 3 days.  Repeat with 2nd jar.
